What's different:

This isn't another polished corporate conference with 55-minute PowerPoint presentations. It's a “citizen forum” of sorts where real people talk about how they’re using AI for work and personal purposes, who they’re learning from, what keeps them up at night and what they’re doing about it, and how they’re going about building work they actually want in an AI world.

No one actually knows how AI will go or how quickly it will affect various categories of knowledge workers. We can shape more of our future in it if we’re proactive, informed, and scrappy about it.

The main criteria opting you in to this unconventional experience are:

  1. You are a “knowledge/laptop worker.”
  2. You’ve got loads of questions about AI’s impact on work.
  3. You want to perpetuate/create meaningful work.
  4. You value personal autonomy.
  5. You aren’t into hand-wringing and complaining 🙂

The event is hosted by Emily Burnett, author of Dear Fellow Spender, and the upcoming Dear Fellow Dreamer. Emily is a former tech manager turned writer who explores humor, meaningful work, creativity, & AI. She has a knack for making things fun. This matters when it comes to creating a non-boring conference you’ll be so glad you attended. In 2022, Emily left a comfy corporate tech career to build a financial coaching business, improv her way around Europe + the U.S for two years, and become a writer.

As the creator of the Substack "More to Your Life,” she’s very interested in helping others create meaningful, empowered, and interesting lives.
